anecdote 3

Julia and I have been best friends for a very long time. I have a lot of good and bad memories with her. This happened the 4th week we had met back in 7th grade. Me and her both stayed after school and were walking to Carlos J.r to eat. We got there and ate and talked, after that we started walking back to school so we could get picked up. We walked by an ice-cream store and there was a sign by the sidewalk, so I pushed her into it and she just ran into it and broke the sign. We both kinda walked a little faster just laughing. The next day we passed by the sign and it was still broken.

  1. The main impression I get from your stories about Julia is that she's not afraid to laugh at herself. This is a good quality, but story after story about someone falling down or running into things is about as insightful as an episode of America's Funniest Home Videos. Can you think of a time when Julia's refusal to take herself too seriously proved really helpful? For example, has she been willing to forgive someone who said something insensitive?
